Abi Santmyer serves as Senior Advisor, Communications and Brand for the Center to Advance Consumer Partnership (CACP), where she leads strategic communications, brand narrative, and messaging across the organization’s work with Medicaid leaders, health plans, regulators, and partners. Her work advances CACP’s mission to center lived experience and support meaningful systems change through clear, thoughtful, and human-centered communication.

Abi brings more than two decades of experience in health care strategy and communications, with deep expertise in system-level change, executive storytelling, and consumer engagement. She has led enterprise communications for complex health care organizations, including serving as Vice President of Internal Communications at Commonwealth Care Alliance and Assistant Vice President of Corporate Communications at Beacon where she shaped the corporate narratives and executive communications during periods of organizational growth and transformation.

Through her firm, Jumping Fish, Abi leads a multidisciplinary team of creatives, digital communications experts, copywriters, strategists, and web developers. Jumping Fish supports CACP’s communications and brand work, enabling the organization to draw on a senior-led team with the depth, flexibility, and scale needed to support its national impact.  

Known for her ability to translate complexity into clarity, Abi helps organizations connect strategy, language, and lived experiences, supporting decisions that are more inclusive, more effective, and grounded in the realities of people navigating health care systems.
