Melinda Karp
Founder and Executive Director
Melinda has twenty five years of experience as a health care industry leader developing innovative approaches to transform health care experience and outcomes through authentic consumer engagement and creating cultures of consumer partnership. In addition to serving as CACP’s Executive Director, Melinda is also the Senior Vice President for Consumer Partnership at Commonwealth Care Alliance where she leads CCA’s strategy to be recognized as the national leader in the design and delivery of authentically consumer centered care and services for individuals with complex needs. Prior to joining CCA in 2017, Melinda was Senior Director of Member Experience Innovation at BCBSMA. Before BCBSMA, Melinda directed strategic planning and business development at Massachusetts Health Quality Partners (MHQP), where she pioneered new strategies for consumer engagement and consumer experience measurement. She has been engaged in numerous national activities and has served on several national advisory boards focused on measuring and reporting patient care experiences, improving the patient-centered delivery of care, and embedding the consumer voice into the design of health system innovations She holds an MBA in Health Care Management from Boston University and a Psychology degree from Duke University.
Larry Gottlieb
Founder and Senior Advisor
Larry is an accomplished physician executive with thirty years of diverse experience and achievement in managed care, population health, quality improvement, clinical information technology, and healthcare delivery. He is widely recognized in the healthcare industry as a leader in quality measurement and improvement for populations with complex health and social needs. Larry is CCA’s Chief Quality Officer and served as the President and CEO of CACP from 2018 to 2021. Before joining CCA, Larry was Vice President and Senior Medical Director at Health Dialog, a Boston-based wellness and chronic care support organization. Before Health Dialog, Larry was Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of two early stage care management information technology companies and served as a Medical Director at Harvard Community Health Plan and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. Larry obtained an undergraduate degree in engineering and a medical degree from Tufts University and a Master of Public Policy degree from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Tufts New England Medical Center and was a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at Stanford.
